ESR enhanced reliability capacitors from AVX

TTI has added the TRJ series of tantalum chip from AVX to its range of products. The TRJ professional series capacitors deliver significantly lower ESR, whilst achieving reliability levels twice that of standard tantalum devices. Leakage current is reduced to 75% that of standard tantalum specifications.

Low inductance capacitors from AVX

AVX Corporation has introduced its FFVS range of medium power capacitors which feature very high frequency operation and the lowest stray inductance of any product on the market. Suitable for applications such as very high frequency ripple (>100kHz) DC filtering for induction heating, the devices exhibit an inductance of less than 10nH on certain models.

Hermetically Sealed Resistor from Vishay

Vishay Intertechnology has introduced the new hermetically sealed VHP203 miniature ultra-high-precision Z-Foil resistor. The new device provides a low absolute TCR of ±0.05ppm/°C from 0°C to +60°C and ±0.2ppm/°C from −55°C to +125°C, +25°C Ref, an excellent power coefficient (ΔR due to self heating) of ±5ppm at rated power, a tolerance of ±0.001% (10ppm), and a load-life stability of ±0.002% (20ppm).
