Isolator Family from NVE Corp

NVE Corporation has announced the introduction of the IsoLoop IL500-Series of digital isolators, designed to be cost-effective optocoupler replacements. Compared to NVE's industry-standard IL700-Series isolators, which have speeds up to 150 megabits per second, IL500-Series isolators operate at two megabits per second, offer a DC-correct design, and have an external clocking option on certain models.

Intersil’s video SERDES IC eliminates data control cables while increasing signal distance

Intersil has introduced the ISL34340, a SERDES Interface that transports 27 bits of video data and bi-directional I2C into a single high-speed LVDS cable of up to 10 meters long. Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation today released three new 7-bit UltraCMOS? Digital Step Attenuators to complement its popular 50-Ohm DSA line. Building on their high-performance predecessors, along with flexible Serial and Parallel interface logic these new HaRP?-enhanced devices also offer an unprecedented serial-addressable control interface which allows the user to control up to 8 different DSAs using a common 3-wire interface bus. The new trio offers highly flexible attenuation options by covering a 31.75 dB attenuation range in 0.25 dB, 0.5 dB, or 1.0 dB steps.

RALCWI Family Grows With Duplex Vocoder IC

CML Microcircuits announces a new RALCWI integrated circuit to its Vocoder family. The new CMX638, is a flexible, highly integrated, high performance duplex vocoder, utilising RALCWI (Robust Advanced Low Complexity Waveform Interpolation) technology. CML now offers the CMX608, CMX618 and CMX638 high performance vocoders, which all offer near toll-quality voice performance at very low bit-rates.
